Acresford Methodist Church

Acresford Methodist Church held their final act of worship on 25th June 2023. We are currently awaiting the Nottingham and Derby District synod's decision regarding the future of the building. 

Acresford is a village located between Burton on Trent and Ashby in The National Forest in North West Leicestershire.

The church, which is unique is a Methodist Heritage Site, it is situated in a row of terraced houses known as Brookfield Cottages, Acresford. It is a place of peace and tranquillity with exquisite charm and a strong spiritual atmosphere together with a feel of something mysterious and beautiful where people are able to sense the presence of God in a special way. Adjoining it is the light and airy former schoolroom and institute.
